Recent incidents in Bangladesh
Political: Gatko corruption case, some politicians, economist & ministers were proved as culprit & after the judgment of court a decision was made to send them to jail. They are Former minister M. Saifur Rahman, Matiur Rahman Nijami, Abdul Mannan Bhuiya.
Social: Police opened torture on labor Charaia area. A day labor gave a huge amount of money to human trafficker to got o Malaysia. The trafficker took the money & tried to escape. When the poor labor filed a case in police station he didn’t got torture instead judgment when his father tried to stop police biting him he was also bitted & he died. The angry public of the area surrounded the police station & got in to a fight with them after a long time the situation came under control. This was another example of police harassment in Bangladesh.
